この調査で日本は既婚者の幸福度が高い順ランキングで5位にランクインしています。
日本は独身男性の幸福度がずば抜けて低い
逆に日本では40～50代の独身男性の幸福度がずば抜けて低いことが指摘されています。
この理由の1つとして、男性の年収の低さが挙げられています。
しかも独身男性においては、年収が1000万円を限度に、それを超えても幸福度が頭打ちになって、それ以上の収入では幸福度が下がることすらあるという研究結果があります。
つまり、お金が幸せを保証するわけではないのです。
独身が幸福度を低く感じる理由
結婚できないことをネガティブにとらえてしまうから
結婚は多くの人にとって大切な出来事で、結婚しないと引け目を感じたり、普通じゃないと思って自己肯定感が下がることがあります。

つまり自分自身に自信を持っているので、ストレスや難しい状況に対処する能力も多いです。
結婚が幸せにつながるわけではなく、幸せな人が結婚を選ぶことでより幸せになれるということなのです。

最後に、独身と既婚どちらが幸せかは、その人の価値観や状況に大きく左右されます。
統計データからは一般的な傾向は見えますが、実際の幸福は人それぞれ異なります。
