利用する婚活サービスの仕様にもよりますが、多くの結婚相談所のアプリやマッチングアプリ等では、プロフィール欄に自分の婚活写真を、複数枚掲載できるようになっています。
婚活写真を準備する際によくある組合せとして、「上半身の写真」と「全身写真」をチョイスされることを検討される方が多いかと思います。
しかし、カメラマン目線で申し上げると全身写真を掲載することは、実はあまりおすすめしません。

体型がモロに出てしまうから
まずはこれです。
もちろんカメラマンの技術である程度はスタイルが良く見えるようにカバーできますが、それでも限度があります。
太っている、または男性の場合は痩せすぎていて頼りない、手足が短い、顔が大きいなど、全身写真はわざわざ見せなくても良いところまで目立ってしまうのです。
要するに上半身の写真と比べて全身写真は、あなたの体型に関するデメリット部分を隠しきることが、なかなか難しい撮影サイズなのです。
一方で、たとえば身長が高い、顔が小さい、手足が長い、またはスラッとした・ガッチリしたというような何かしらの強みがある方や、体型管理がキチンとできている方は、その長所をアピールすることが出来るので全身写真を撮った方が良いでしょう。
ポージングが素人にとっては難しいから
言ってしまえば上半身の写真なら、ポージングはカメラマンの技術で撮られ慣れていない方でも充分に良い感じの表現が可能です。
しかし全身写真だと比較的、簡単ではないのが正直なところです。
たとえばモデルなどの職業の方は、いわば撮られることが仕事です。
ファッション雑誌に掲載されているような全身写真の立ち姿は、一見すると何気ないように見えるかもしれませんが、実はスタイルが良く見えるように、またどの角度がより美しく見えるのか、とても計算されているポージングなのです。
全身を撮られる側のモデル自身も研究し、練習を重ねた上で身に着けた、意外と奥が深いものなんです。
それを婚活写真を撮る際に、今まで撮られたことのない人がいきなり実践しようとしても、多くの人にとって難しく、カメラマンからの指導をその場で聞いたところで、出来ない場合があるのは当然の事です。
映える全身写真のポージングは、上半身の写真と比べて撮られる側のスタイルやセンスに依存する比率が大きいのも、おすすめしない理由の1つです。
スマホで見るとよくわからないから
「全身写真」が、おすすめではない理由は現在の婚活のシステムにも紐づきます。
今の時代、アプリを使いスマホという小さな画面の中で、相手のプロフを見て会うかどうか？決めている方が大多数です。
全身写真の欠点は、スタイルとか、雰囲気はなんとなくわかりますがスマホの世界で見ると特に、画面が小さく顔がよく分からない！と感じられる場合が多く、結果的に自己アピールが充分にできない結果に繋がるかもしれないことです。
プロフィール写真で皆さんが一番気になるポイントは、やはりお相手のお顔や表情だと思いますので、それが分かり難い全身写真を載せるメリットよりもデメリットの方が大きいでしょう。

以上の理由から、全身の写真は無理して撮ったとしても、上半身写真に比べると思ったほど、異性の心を動かすほど引きの強い写真にならない場合が多いです。
複数の婚活写真を準備するのなら、表情や角度や画角を変えた上半身の写真を撮って、どの角度＆どの表情から見ても好印象だとお相手に認識してもらった方が申込み率は上がると思います。
上半身の写真でも、ウエストまで入っているような少し広めの画角であれば、全体のスタイルもなんとなく想像がつきますので、全身写真は特に必要ないのかなと思います。
お顔がよく分かる上半身の写真で、お人柄や優しさなどの印象を上手に表現した方が、マッチングが成立する確率はアップするように感じます。
